OUR ESTIMATING PROCESS

Wondering what you can expect during the estimating process?

• Discuss Past Experiences:  If you’re like most people, you’ve probably had a bad experience with a contractor – I’d like to hear about your experience and explain how this time will be different.  One of my main goals is to make this a positive experience! 

• Discuss Questions:  I will ask questions about your project, your timeline, and your budget (if you have one in mind).  I will talk you through recommendations for how to tackle your project, and will answer any questions that you might have. 

• Review Project:  We will walk around your project area, and I will take pictures and measurements.

• Estimate:  After our meeting, I will spend some time crafting a custom estimate for your project, and will then send it to you for review.  Please keep in mind that for some larger, more complex projects, it might take up to 48 hours for you to receive your estimate. 

• Discuss Options:  Sometimes, budget prevents people from hiring the company who they feel good about doing business with, in favor of the company who submitted the lower estimate.  For this reason, I’m always happy to revisit your estimate and look for options to align to your budget and expectations.
