garage floor coatings

PROBLEM

We all live and drive in Minnesota, and during the winter, many of us park our vehicles in garages.  This is the single biggest reason why you should think about protecting your garage floor.  The salt and liquid de-icers that are used on our roads are literally eating their way through our vehicles and garage floors.

Once cracks form, water migrates in and washes away the base that the concrete slab is poured on, which will cause the slab to sink. Some floors sink at the wall, others some sink at the apron, depending on where the cracks are located. Floor coatings are a preventative measure, to ensure that this does not happen!

SOLUTION

The key to prolonging the life of your floor is choosing to protect it with a polyurea floor coating.  These coatings are versatile, durable, low maintenance, and will last a lifetime.  Almost all garage floors can be repaired and coated.

If you'd like to know if your floor can be repaired and coated, please take a picture of the full floor, as well as close ups of two of the worst spots (cracks, pits, etc.), and send them our way.  After we determine the condition of your current floor, we'll be able to decide if your floor is a candidate for a coating system, or in need of a partial or full replacement.  From there, we'll set up a time to visit your garage and discuss your specific needs.  We will then create a customized estimate and outline what the process will be to achieve your desired outcome.

Since no two floors are the same, we do not provide "per square foot" estimates (however average garage floors will range from $4.50/sq ft to $7.50/sq ft); we take all variables into account.  We are able to provide solutions for both residential and commercial clients.
